RUSSELLVILLE – Mrs. Lucy Alma Gardner, 86, of Russellville, died Tuesday morning in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville after a long illness. Mrs. Gardner was a member of the Christian Church and Order of Eastern Star here. She was born Oct. 23, 1889, a daughter of George and Margaret Lookabill Gardner. Surviving are a first cousin, Charles Gardner of Greencastle, and several second and third cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in McGaughey & Son Funeral home here with the Rev. Lester Niles officiating. Burial will be in Hebron Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today. – jlr
